My Csa Category: CSA Farm
Fair Share Farms is a small family farm North of Edmonton, Alberta. We grow Beyond Organic produce for our CSA and Market sales. When you subscribe to a CSA, you aren’t just a customer, you are an important part of the farm. As a part of the farm, we all share in the worries and rewards of a local food system. You buy a ‘share’ of what we will grow this season. Throughout the season, we will have three drop off locations around the Edmonton are where you can pick up your fresh, local, beyond organic produce, eggs, meats, and honey.
How does it work?
Starting in late winter and early spring, you can subscribe for a CSA share. You can choose a full share (220 lbs), a half share (110 lbs) or a custom farm box (you invest for a specified dollar amount and can buy as much as you like each week of any of our products). After you have purchased your share, we start planting and growing to get ready to feed your family for the 15 week season. Starting in early June, we will confirm where you would like to pick up your produce. Starting mid June, you will begin to enjoy your fresh, seasonal, beyond organic veggies.

Our CSA is seasonal. This means that what you can choose from each week will change a little bit as the season progresses. Some of the produce you will get includes: Carrots, lettuce, onions, beans, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, tomatoes, herbs, peas, rhubarb, celery, kale, swiss chard, radishes, cabbage, potatoes, and corn.
We do not have any on farm work requirements in order to be a CSA member, however, we love having you visit! We host long table dinners and family celebrations on the farm throughout the season. We also invite you to come learn with us through the Sustainable Learning Centre where we teach homesteading and gardening skills.
Visit our website at www.fairsharefarms.com for pricing on the CSA and all of the add on’s like eggs, honey, fruit and meats.
