My Csa Category: CSA Farm
Kathan Teepe founded Sweet Pea Farm in 2017. Teepe grows on two acres on the historic Amos Greene Farm in Charlestown, RI. She grows vegetables and cut flowers using sustainable methods that focus on soil health. The 2018 CSA Program runs from the week of June 25 through the week of October 1. Members can pick up their shares on Tuesdays in Providence at White Buffalo (formerly Share Space) from 5 to 7pm or in Lincoln at a private residence from 5 to 7pm, on Thursdays on the farm in Charlestown, RI from 4 to 7pm, and on Saturdays at Barrington Farm School in Barrington from 10am to 12pm. The cost is $500 for 15 weeks of fresh, sustainably-grown produce. Two insulated, reusable shopping bags are included with your purchase. Great way to support a local woman-owned farm and commit to healthy eating for 15 weeks!
